VOMIR (voh-meer) is a queer collective comprised of 3 artists based in Los Angeles, CA. Roman Udalov is a self taught photographer with a background in advertising and gymnastics. He wants to be buried in a forest. Danny Dolan is a dancer/choreographer/actor/DJ/builder who brings movement into focus. Dare Williams is a poet who also engages in photography and set decoration. All three artists come together to create a world where ALL bodies, races, genders and identities are celebrated using the medium of photography and video, documenting fashion, drama, and movement. They challenge society’s ideals and bring forth new definitions of beauty, continuously returning to their namesake, VOMIR, a French verb: to spew, to bring up, to vomit.
